Core Principles
- No analytics or tracking: JustDew does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
- No developer servers: We do not operate servers that receive or store your location or weather data.
- Widget-first local state: The app saves your selected location and latest weather reading locally on your device so widgets and watch complications can display them.
Location
If you choose Current Location, JustDew asks for system location permission. Your location is used to request the current dew point and to show a readable place name such as city and state.
If you search for a city or address, JustDew uses that selected place to retrieve weather. The saved place is stored locally on your device for the app, widgets, and watch complications.
Weather and Apple Services
JustDew uses Apple system services, including WeatherKit and location/geocoding services, to return weather and place information. JustDew does not use those requests to build user profiles, run analytics, or maintain developer-side logs.
What JustDew Does Not Collect
- It does not collect your precise or approximate location for developer-side storage.
- It does not collect app usage analytics.
- It does not collect advertising identifiers.
- It does not sell or share personal data.
- It does not require an account.
Local Data
JustDew stores the selected location and latest weather reading locally using app storage shared with its widgets and watch components. This keeps widgets working without collecting that data on developer servers. You can change the selected location in the app at any time.
Children's Privacy
JustDew does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the updated policy will be published on this page and the date above will be changed.
