Common Questions
How do I use it?
- Select a folder containing files or subfolders.
- Enter a base name or choose one from Templates.
- Review the preview list.
- Click Process to rename, or Undo to revert the last batch.
Can I save templates?
Yes. You can create templates inside the app, then import or export them for reuse.
Can I continue an existing numbered sequence?
Yes. Use the next-name helper in the Base Name field to insert the next number from the current batch.
Can I randomize the numbering?
Yes. The File menu includes a shuffled rename command that applies your basename and numbering in random order.
Need an improvement?
If there is a rename workflow you do often and the app still feels slower than it should, send it in. That is usually the best kind of feature request.
